Opened on July 27, 1998, Syrdarya University is a university that transforms the remote Myrzashol region in the southern part of the country, bordering Uzbekistan, into a civilized, cultural region.

Significant progress has been made in the field of analysis of the quality of education and science and its contribution to the national economy. In 2019, it ranked 16th in the Top 20 overall rankings conducted by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, and in 2020, it ranked 17th.

The Admissions Committee of Syrdarya University has started accepting applications for full-time and distance learning, as well as for master's degree in the 2021-2022 academic year.

     The purpose of the Admissions Committee of Syrdarya University is the formation and organization of the student body.

The main task of the Admissions Committee is to teach young people to consciously choose competitive educational programs depending on the specifics of their aptitude and to pre-form the interest of young people in the teaching profession.

The Admissions Office performs the following functions:

• Preparation and approval of the work plan of the Admissions Committee for the new academic year;

• Development of university admission rules in accordance with the "Standard Rules of Admission to Higher Education" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

• Organization of a seminar between the structural units of the university, faculties, departments of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Standard rules of admission to higher education";

• Approval of responsible faculties, departments and structural units in the region for the purpose of systematic career guidance in schools of Turkestan region and Shardara, Keles districts;

• Publication of articles in district and city newspapers on the university and university educational programs;

• Organization of receiving documents from applicants;

• Preparation and organization of the rules of creative and special exams;

• Organization of consultations on creative and special exam lessons;

• Organization of creative and special exams;

• Acceptance, organization of applications and participation in the competition for the state grant, admission to the student body;

• Preparation and reproduction of documents required for admission (application, personal file, receipt, student's personal file, protocol, contract);

• Replenishment of the stands of the Admissions Committee located in the educational buildings of the University with reference and promotional materials;

• Organization of acceptance of applicants' documents for the state educational grant competition;

• Issue an order to the applicant and send the documents to the Student Service Center;

• Preparation of annual reports on the work of the Admissions Committee and reporting to the Academic Council of the University.
