The Academic Mobility Department provides support to international students and listeners for their successful adaptation and integration, as well as to staff and other guests before and during their stay at Zh.A. Tashenev University.
Academic mobility is the movement of students or teacher-researchers for study or research for a specific academic period to another higher education institution (within the country or abroad) with mandatory transfer of completed educational programs in the form of credits to their home university or for continuing studies at another university.

- Participation in the implementation of state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of personnel training abroad
- Coordination of sustainable growth of the contingent of foreign citizens wishing to study at Zh.A. Tashenev University
Within the framework of academic exchange, our university has close ties with Latvia, Hungary, Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
To develop external academic mobility, students and teachers actively participate in knowledge exchange, internships, and joint research with the Tajik Pedagogical Institute and the Eastern University of Kyrgyzstan named after M.K. Barskany.
In addition, to strengthen ties with foreign universities, agreements on international exchange have been signed under the Erasmus+ and Mevlana international programs with:
