The Department of International Business and Management at Tashenev University is a leading institution in Central Asia that trains business leaders and highly qualified professionals in the field of information systems. The objective of the “Business Administration” programme is to equip students with the professional competencies and leadership skills required to assume key positions within both domestic and international business and government structures. The programme places special emphasis on the practical application of leadership qualities and culminates in a professional internship under the supervision of faculty.

The “IT Management” bachelor’s programme provides students with in-depth exposure to the innovative tools, operational models, and business strategies employed by leading global corporations. Graduates of this programme will be prepared to cultivate and lead a creative, innovation-oriented organizational culture capable of delivering consistent results. The curriculum covers methods of prototyping and experimentation used by top product developers worldwide.

Upon completion of the programme, students will master contemporary methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing data related to business operations and financial reporting, perform financial analyses, and allocate company resources effectively.

The overarching aim of the educational programme is to develop key professional competencies in management, operational administration, and information systems.

The “Information Security Technologies” bachelor’s programme offers students foundational and advanced knowledge, as well as practical skills, in the design, development, and management of information systems and software. In addition, graduates acquire essential theoretical knowledge in economics, finance, management, and marketing.

 

Upon successful completion of any of the Department’s educational programmes, graduates will be able to:

            1.         Communicate fluently in English for effective oral and written business correspondence;

            2.         Apply mathematical and statistical analysis methods, and modern information technologies to address managerial tasks related to business processes and projects;

            3.         Demonstrate and utilize core principles and competencies in business, management, and leadership (in areas including management, marketing, operations management, and corporate law), and integrate theoretical knowledge into practice for solving managerial challenges;

            4.         Design, plan, and manage an organization’s information system, including database design;

            5.         Develop proprietary systems and subsystems for data storage and processing, including large-scale (big data) solutions;

            6.         Create or adapt software solutions tailored to the needs of a company or organization;

            7.         Employ modern hardware-software complexes for establishing localized and networked information systems;

            8.         Apply conceptual knowledge and skills in analyzing managerial issues, exploring different decision-making approaches, managing personnel, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders;

            9.         Conduct supervised practical sessions, independent research, and individual management projects that synthesize and apply theoretical constructs to topics in management.
