On 21 October 2026, Z. A. Tashenev University, with the support of the Department of World Languages, hosted a meeting for students and faculty with representatives of Campus France, the French government agency responsible for promoting higher education in France.

The event aimed to inform students about opportunities for academic mobility, master’s and doctoral studies, and language programmes in France. Presentations were delivered by Merei Danayeva, an official coordinator of the Campus France education office; Zhumagul Abdullina, Director of Alliance Française in Shymkent; and Aktolkyn Yeshimkulova, a French language lecturer.

During the meeting, the speakers provided detailed guidance on using the mandatory Études en France online platform, which supports applications to French higher education institutions and the student visa process. Particular attention was paid to selection criteria, opportunities to obtain government scholarships, and application deadlines for the upcoming academic year.

Following the formal session, students received individual consultations and answers to their questions about accommodation and adapting to life in France. Events like this create new opportunities for our students to engage with the international academic community and advance their careers.
