At a meeting of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, the issue of discussing master’s thesis topics for the educational programme 7M01701 – “Training  teachers of the Kazakh Language and Literature” was considered.

During the meeting, the issues related to the development and approval of master’s thesis topics were discussed. In particular, taking into account the pedagogical orientation of the educational programme, the need to prioritise research in the methodology of teaching the Kazakh language and literature was emphasised.

Furthermore, particular attention was paid to providing opportunities for research in linguistics, literary studies, and interdisciplinary fields in order to comprehensively develop master’s students’ research competencies. The importance of ensuring the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of master’s thesis topics without restricting the diversity of their content was highlighted.

Following the meeting, relevant recommendations were made regarding the development and approval of master’s thesis topics, taking into account the objectives of the educational programme and the expected learning outcomes, prioritising methodological research, and maintaining a diversity of research areas.
