ZHANAR RYSBEKOVA APPOINTED RECTOR OF TASHENEV UNIVERSITY

In accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of "Zhumabek Ahmetuly Tashenev University" JSC, by order of the Chairman of the Board, Janar Kasymbekovna Rysbekova has been appointed Member of the Board – Rector of the university.

Zhanar Kasymbekovna is an experienced executive with nearly 30 years of professional experience and holds a Ph.D. in Law.

From 1997 to 2011, she worked as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, and professor at several state and national higher education institutions in Kazakhstan.

From 2011 to 2013, she held executive positions in legal support at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2013 to 2017, she served at the Academy of the Financial Police of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, holding positions as a senior officer for special cases and head of the advisory center. For her conscientious and exemplary performance of duty, she was awarded departmental honors, including the medal "For Contribution to the Legal Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the medal of the Academy of the Financial Police of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2017 to 2021, she worked at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, serving as Head of the Anti-Corruption Research Center, Director of the Academic Programs Center, and later Director of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Academy.

From 2021 to 2025, she was a Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Social Work at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

Since 2025, she has served as Vice-Rector and Member of the Board at Tashenev University, overseeing strategic development, science, international cooperation, accreditation, and project management.

Zhanar Kasymbekovna holds international professional certifications and is the author of numerous projects aimed at advancing science and higher education. She possesses international qualifications in project management, corporate governance, anti-corruption management, higher education management, and human capital. She is certified under ISO 21500 (Project Management), ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System), the ICU international coaching standard, and holds a Independent Director qualification (QID). Additionally, she has completed professional internships and executive courses at the SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management, Danube Business School (Austria), and under the international Erasmus+ program.
