The Educational Value of Abai Kunanbayuly’s Words of Edification

On March 18, 2026, Asangali M., a lecturer with a master’s degree from the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University, conducted an open lecture titled “The Educational Value of Abai Kunanbayuly’s Words of Edification” for students enrolled in the 6B01701 Educational Program – Teacher Training in Kazakh Language and Literature. The lecture took place in Room 209 at 11:30 a.m. During the lecture, comprehensive discussions were held on the themes of morality, the pursuit of knowledge, diligence, honesty, national values, and spiritual education reflected in Abai Kunanbayuly’s Words of Edification. Students were introduced to the educational and moral significance of these works, while their relevance to modern society and their role in shaping the worldview of the younger generation were thoroughly analyzed. In addition, effective teaching methods and modern pedagogical technologies used in teaching the Words of Edification were discussed. The open lecture was conducted at a high professional level, and all intended learning objectives were successfully achieved.
