Scientific and Methodological Seminar: Senior Lecturer of the Department, Master N.Sh. Abdraimova conducted a methodological seminar entitled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Natural Sciences.”
During the seminar, issues related to the effective use of artificial intelligence tools in teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography were discussed. Participants were introduced to the main areas of AI application in education and its role in improving the quality of the learning process.
The speaker emphasized that artificial intelligence technologies are becoming increasingly widespread in modern education, contributing to more effective teaching, enhancing students’ cognitive engagement, and improving learning outcomes. Particular attention was given to the use of AI tools in Geography education, where they facilitate work with digital maps and enable deeper analysis of natural and socio-economic processes.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and explore modern approaches to integrating artificial intelligence into natural science education. It was highlighted that AI technologies support the development of students’ research skills, including information searching, comparison, analysis, and evidence-based conclusion making.
The seminar concluded with recognition of the significant role of artificial intelligence in improving educational quality, fostering students’ interest in science, and encouraging creative activity. The event generated considerable interest among participants and was highly appreciated.
