Opening Ceremony of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Classroom Held at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education

A ceremonial opening of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Classroom was held at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the Institute of Pedagogical and Natural Sciences. The classroom was established to honor the outstanding Kazakh educator, linguist, public figure, and founder of Kazakh linguistics, Akhmet Baitursynuly.
The event was organized by A.A. Akkuzov, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Lecturer at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education.
The ceremony was attended by the Rector of the University, K.S. Baibolov, who officially inaugurated the classroom by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. In his welcoming speech, the Rector emphasized Akhmet Baitursynuly's invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh education, science, language, and national culture. He noted that the new classroom would serve as an important educational platform for promoting national values and fostering patriotism among students.
The Director of the Institute of Pedagogical and Natural Sciences, Sh.Zh. Arzymbetova, also addressed the audience. She highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Akhmet Baitursynuly's scholarly and pedagogical legacy and expressed confidence that the classroom would enhance the professional training of future teachers, encourage research activities, and strengthen students' appreciation of Kazakhstan's cultural heritage.
The Head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, G.O. Amirova, noted that the opening of the classroom marked an important milestone in the department's academic development. She emphasized that the classroom would provide a modern educational environment, promote innovative teaching and research, and support the spiritual and moral education of future educators.
During the event, participants visited an exhibition dedicated to the life and legacy of Akhmet Baitursynuly. Students recited his works, presented literary performances, and shared presentations highlighting his outstanding contribution to the development of the Kazakh language, writing system, and national education.
The opening of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Classroom became a significant event in the University's academic and cultural life, reflecting its commitment to preserving national heritage, strengthening patriotic values, and inspiring future generations through the legacy of one of Kazakhstan's greatest intellectuals.
