On April 8, 2026, Almira Zholshiyeva, Master’s degree holder and Senior Lecturer, conducted an open lesson for students of groups IEF-24-13k1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 as part of the course “Operating Systems Configuration.” The topic of the lesson was “Specialized Computers, Database Machines, and Object-Oriented Architecture.”
The aim of the lesson was to give students a clear understanding of the key features of specialized computer systems, introduce the structure and operating principles of database machines, and explore the fundamental concepts and applications of object-oriented architecture.
During the session, students examined different types of specialized computers and their practical applications. The structure and functionality of database machines were discussed, with particular attention to data storage and processing principles. The concept of object-oriented architecture was also covered, including its core principles, system design approaches, and its role in modern software development.
The lesson was delivered in a presentation-based format and incorporated modern teaching methods. Students actively participated in discussions and engaged with the material throughout the session.
The open lesson was conducted at a high organizational level. Its content and structure were well aligned with the stated objectives and contributed to increasing students’ interest in the subject, as well as strengthening their professional skills.
