On March 18, 2026, PhD, Associate Professor Nurlybek Jumataev conducted a seminar on “High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence: HUST Experience and Integration into the Learning Process.” The purpose of the seminar was to introduce students to the experience of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and discuss effective ways to integrate high-performance computing and artificial intelligence into the educational process in Kazakhstan.

During the seminar, six reform directions based on HUST experience were presented: syllabus update, assessment system reform, establishment of HPC/AI laboratories, industry collaboration, early research engagement, and academic mobility. Participants examined practical examples of implementing each approach.

The seminar was conducted at a high organizational level using interactive methods. Participants actively engaged and demonstrated both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The content and structure fully aligned with the objectives and contributed to increasing students’ interest in the discipline.
