Fourth-year students defended their final work placement reports
2026-11-03
Today, fourth-year students enrolled in the Art and Technical Drawing Teacher Training and Music Teacher Training educational programmes successfully defended their final work placement reports.
A work placement is an important stage that enables students to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired at university in real working environments, gain professional experience, and develop a deeper understanding of their future profession.
During their placements, the students familiarised themselves with the operational systems of schools and educational institutions and actively participated in professional activities. They completed various tasks related to their specialisations, collected the required materials, worked with documentation, and applied modern methods and technologies in practice. They also improved their skills in observing workplace discipline, working as part of a team, managing their time effectively, acting responsibly, and making independent decisions.
During the defence, each student provided information about the institution where they completed their placement and presented the work they had carried out and the experience they had gained. The students submitted their reporting documents, placement diaries, portfolios, visual materials, and creative works and answered questions from the members of the assessment panel. They also reflected on the challenges they encountered during the placement, the ways they addressed them, and the professional knowledge and skills they acquired.
The defence demonstrated that the students were able to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical experience, develop professional competencies, and strengthen their interest in their future teaching careers. Their presentations reflected curiosity, responsibility, creative engagement, and a strong commitment to professional growth.
We sincerely thank the heads of the institutions that supported the organisation of the work placements, the placement supervisors, and the professionals who provided the students with guidance and support.
