Akhmetov M.K. conducted an open lesson on the topic “Organizing and Conducting Togyzkumalak Competitions and Familiarization with the Rules.”
The aim of the lesson was to introduce students to the rules of the traditional Kazakh game Togyzkumalak, to teach them how to organize and conduct competitions, and to develop their logical and strategic thinking skills.
During the lesson, the history of the game, its main rules, and tactical features were explained in detail. The requirements for organizing competitions, principles of refereeing, and procedures for conducting games were also discussed.
In the practical part, students participated in game-based tasks, developing skills in calculation, planning, and decision-making. Group work helped them understand the stages of organizing competitions and assign roles effectively.
Modern interactive teaching methods were used, which increased student engagement. Participants showed great interest and actively took part in discussions.
