Functional Types and Structural Patterns of Simple Sentences
On April 15, 2026, Senior Lecturer Sh.A. Bakirova of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenov University conducted an open class on the topic “Functional Types and Structural Patterns of Simple Sentences” within the course “Syntax of the Modern Kazakh Language” for students of the educational program 6B01701 – “Training Teachers of Kazakh Language and Literature.” The class was organized in the form of a lecture and took place in room 216 at 11:30.
During the lesson, the functional types and structural features of simple sentences were comprehensively discussed. In particular, the grammatical characteristics of personal and impersonal sentences, the linguistic features of complete and incomplete sentences, as well as the formation and communicative functions of nominative sentences were explained. In addition, a scientific analysis of the structural patterns and syntactic features of sentences was conducted.
During the open class, students completed syntactic analysis tasks and improved their skills in identifying sentence types. The integration of interactive methods with theoretical material increased students’ interest in the subject. The lesson was conducted at a high scientific and methodological level, and all educational objectives were fully achieved.
