The manifestation of the Abai tradition in modern Kazakh literature

On January 14, 2026, Associate Professor of the Kazakh Language and Literature Department at Zhumabek Akhmetovich Tashenev University, PhD in Philology L.U. Abenova, held an open lesson on "The Manifestation of the Abai Tradition in Modern Kazakh Literature" for students of the 6B01701 educational program, "Training of Teachers of Kazakh Language and Literature." The lesson, organized as a lecture, took place in room 208 at 9:30 AM.

               During the lesson, specific examples were used to thoroughly examine how all the work of poets and writers of modern Kazakh literature originates from the great figure named Abai, and as for the literature of the early 20th century, such great figures as Shakarim, Akhmet, Mirzhakip, Sultanmakhmut, and Magzhan discovered many aspects of the tradition established by Abai in poetry and continued it with innovation. Using comprehensive and concrete examples, the method by which these "students," who recognized Abai's greatness and revered his poetry, developed and revived every aspect and direction of the great poet's tradition in accordance with their creative abilities and goals, was analyzed.

               The open lesson was organized at a high level, and the educational objectives were fully achieved.
