As part of the strategy to create an accessible educational environment, a group of faculty members from the J.A. Tashenov University successfully completed a professional development course.

About the Course The training took place from March 17 to April 3, 2026, at the "AIST" Academy of Inclusive and Special Technologies. The 72-hour program focused on the topic: "Assessment of Special Educational Needs and Psychological-Pedagogical Support in General Education."

Key Areas of Training During the intensive training, our colleagues studied current issues in modern pedagogy:

·         Legislative Framework: Analysis of international and Kazakhstani legislation in the field of inclusion.

·         Support Methodology: Studying the operational system of Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultations (PMPC) and mechanisms for supporting students within the university.

·         Practical Adaptation: Methods for working with students with visual, hearing, speech, and musculoskeletal impairments, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

·         Innovation and Technology: Implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and using digital tools to create accessible content.

·         Assessment of Knowledge: Organizing academic progress monitoring and conducting demonstration exams for students with disabilities.
