On May 22, 2024, in Shymkent, with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Marat Almasuly Azilkhanov, the 5th session on the theme "Our pillar is independence, our wealth is unity, our goal is progress" was held. The session was attended by the staff of the city administration, heads of all institutions in the city, representatives of the intelligentsia and members of the Assembly. Galymzhan Shamshidinuly Bitursyn, vice-rector of our university, was present at the said large-scale event

Round table "CORE PROBLEMS OF LITERATURE SCIENCE IN THE XXI CENTURY" 
     
The round table was devoted to the anniversary of the teacher, scientist Lyazzat Usmanovyna Abenova.

Teachers of the Department of Languages and Literature of the University named after J.A. Tasheneva, together with students, held a meeting to get acquainted with the new book “Fog” by the famous writer of our region, Zakhardin Kystaubaev. The writer retained the essence of his story about why his book was so named, a number of events in it, and made fresh conclusions that will be instructive for listeners.

Associate Professor of the Department of “Art and Music” of the Faculty of “Primary Education and Art”, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bori Isa, in connection with the “Donate a Book to the Library” campaign held at the university, donated several of his books. 
In particular: “Astana-Asem kala”, “Altyn aimak mekenim”, “Zhenis Zholy” and others.
 

The action "Donate a book to the library" continues in the Center of Information Education of J. A. Tashenev University.
The teaching staff of the university is active in contributing to the library's book fund. Head of "Languages and Literature" department Z.T. Zhantasova donated her prose book and educational materials to the library.
 

On May 17, 2024, the head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, Saule Baizakhovna Botaeva, was in Taraz to carry out career guidance work. She gave a live interview to the morning program “Rawan” of the regional TV channel “JAMBYL”.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of History and Geography Turumbetova G.A. together with Library No. 2, organized a historical hour called “The Path is Longer than Gumyr,” dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the birth of Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayev, a major political figure of the early 20th century, a prominent public figure, railway engineer, and historian.

Within the framework of international cooperation and academic mobility from May 13 to December 15 to May 24, 2024 for teaching staff, undergraduates and students of educational programs 6B04103- “Economics”, 6B04102- “Finance”, 6B04101- “Accounting and Audit”, 6B04104- “IT -management" and master's students 7M04104-"Economics" gave lectures.

On May 15, 2024, teachers of the faculty of “IT, Economics and Law”, the department of “Economics and Law” held a week’s action “Donate a book to the library” at the information and educational center.
The Department of Economics and Law took the first step towards opening this action.

The book is a science common to the whole person.
A popularizing book, a popularizer of science and knowledge.
The book is the ore of the mind.
A book is the beginning of existing knowledge and science.

On May 15, 2024, within the framework of the Educational and Methodological Council № 5 of the Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University, a methodological seminar was held on the topic “Self-development - demand in the future” with the participation of Associate Professor of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, PhD Umirbekova Akerke Nurlanbekkyzy and senior teacher, PhD Sovetkanova Damir Maratkyzy, as well as teaching staff, young scientists and undergraduates.
