General information

The Department of Physical Culture and Sports was founded in 1998 and is one of the first departments of the Syrdariya University. Specialists in physical education and sports are trained here. Our graduates are professional teachers, coaches and instructors in various sports working in various private and public institutions.

About of the department

The Department of  Music Education was founded in 1998 as part of the Syrdarya University, opened in 1998 in the city of Zhetysai, Zhetysai district of South Kazakhstan region. The department was headed by the cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bori Isa. The specialty "Fine Arts and Design" was opened in 2000. Zhenis Kalmuratov, a member of the Union of Artists, headed the department.

Since 2023, it has been renamed the Faculty of Pedagogical and Natural Sciences. Dean of the Faculty Karsybaev Bastarbek Tokhtarovich. The faculty includes three departments.

Brief historical information about the department
The Department of Information and Communication Technologies has been operating since the first day of the university’s foundation in 2022. The teaching staff of the department carries out educational activities in the following undergraduate educational programs 6B06101 – “Computer technology and software”, 6B06102 – “Information systems” and 6B06112 – “Informatics”.

About us

About us
The department "Natural Sciences" was organized in 2009. It trains qualified specialists working in the field of education, science, culture and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Our main task is the formation of innovative activities of future teachers of chemistry and biology.

About the faculty

In 2022, the University of Syrdarya moved from Zhetysai to Shymkent, and after the reorganization into the Zh.A. Tashenev University, the Faculty of “IT, Economics and Law” was established. The faculty was headed by Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Besbaev G. A. and Master's degree Orazov B. D. In 2024, the faculty was renamed the Faculty of “Economics and Law”. Since March 2024 the dean of the faculty has been led by Candidate of Economics A. E. Nauryzbekova.
